ClimatEducate Project

April 2016 — Present

Promotes climate change education in the non-formal and formal education sectors through school and community outreach activities and the development of learning materials. Currently led by youth climate advocates, artists, researchers, educators, and community leaders from more than 13 countries. The project functions autonomously from the organization.

Mag-aba Mangrove Reforestation Project logo

Mag-aba Mangrove Reforestation Project

November 2017 — October 2018

Aimed to capacitate a local community in conserving their local mangrove forest and lobby for its local policy protection. Implemented with support from the Eco-Peace Leadership Center (EPLC) of Kangwon National University (South Korea), Yuhan-Kimberly, and the UN Environment Programme (UNEP). Accomplished in Pandan, Antique Province, Philippines.

Climate Education Nexus

January — December 2020

A collaborative project implemented by the ATO – ClimatEducate Project, the Climate Reality Project Australia and the Pacific, and the Lord Mayor's Charitable Foundation. Aimed to implement a new integrated phase of the ClimatEducate Project by exploring and innovating in the nexus of climate change and education.

Tabang Para sa Kinaiyahan

January 2021 — August 2022

The ClimatEducate Project, in collaboration with the Maramag Catholic Youth Apostolate in Bukidnon Province, Philippines, completed a microgrant project from the UNEP Children and Youth Major Group (UNEP-CYMG). The title is a Bisayà phrase meaning "Aid for the environment."
